How To Make Italian Stromboli

This is just a summary, the full recipe will be below. Start by spreading a store-bought pizza crust out onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. This will assist with rolling it up as well as keep it from sticking to the pan.

Next, brush some pizza sauce on it. Leave about 1/2 to 1 inch around the edges.

And now start layering your toppings. I started with thinly sliced deli ham. Then a layer of cheese followed by a layer of salami and another layer of cheese. Then a layer of pepperoni and another layer of cheese.

Starting from one end, carefully roll the crust over the fillings, tucking in the sides as you go. This helps keep all the deliciousness inside. Pinch and seal the edges of the Stromboli to prevent any filling from escaping during baking.
Brush with some melted butter and sprinkle some garlic powder and dried parsley on it. Then cut a few slits in the top to allow the steam to escape.
Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and crispy. Let it sit for about 5 minutes before slicing into it. This will help the cheese set a bit and make it easier to cut.

Serve with some warm pizza sauce for dipping and enjoy!

I substituted the deli ham for sliced provolone cheese.
Sounds delicious! Can I make this ahead & refrigerate it, then spread on the melted butter & seasonings, slit & bake later?
That was really good. I added some sliced mushrooms and black olives to it. So easy to make and the family loved it.
