Chicken Bacon Alfredo Pizza on Cheddar Bay Biscuit Crust

After I made the Cheddar Bay Biscuit Pizza last year, I have since made it quite a few times. We really enjoy the flavor and the texture of the cheesy, garlicky, buttery crust! I have made different variations of it, but have always stuck to the basic pizza sauce and toppings. So the other night I was thinking about how I could take it up a notch. That is when I decided to make this Chicken Bacon Alfredo Pizza on Cheddar Bay Biscuit Crust! I know it is a mouthful, so call it whatever you want. I am calling it delicious and I hope you will too! How to Make Chicken Bacon Alfredo Pizza on Cheddar Bay Biscuit Crust

This is just a summary. The full, printable recipe is below. Follow the directions on the back of the box as you would for making the biscuits. Mix that together until a sticky dough forms. Spread it out onto a 10×15 greased rimmed baking sheet. The dough is really sticky so I put oil on my hands to spread it out. You may need to reapply the oil a few times! Bake it at 425 degrees for about 10 minutes. This is an important step to make sure the dough cooks all the way through.

While the crust prebakes, season 8 oz of boneless, skinless chicken breasts with this Kinders Blackened seasoning. (Or use whatever kind of seasoning you like!)

Cook them in a skillet in some avocado oil for about 4-5 minutes per side. When they are done, let them rest about 5 minutes before chopping up.

Melt 4 tbsp of butter and mix it with the seasoning packet that came in the biscuit mix. Brush that over the prebaked crust.

Pour about 1/2 of a bottle of Alfredo sauce on. Then cover with 2 cups of Mozzarella cheese. Place the cooked chicken on top, along with 8 oz of cooked, crumbled bacon. Then top it off with another cup of mozzarella cheese.

Bake it for another 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly. Garnish with dried parsley if desired.

Ingredients

  • 11.36 oz Box of Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix
  • 1/2 Cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
  • 3/4 Cup Cold Water
  • 2-3 tbsp Olive Oil for spreading the dough out
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 8 oz Boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1-2 tbsp Kinders Blackened Seasoning or any kind of seasoning you like
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 8 oz Cooked, Crumbled Bacon
  • 14.5 oz Jar of Alfredo Sauce you will only use about 1/2 of it
  • 3-4 Cups Freshly grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • Dried Parsley Flakes optional as a garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees
  • Mix the biscuit dough with the water and cheese. Spray a 10×15 rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray or cover with parchment paper.
  • Rub some of the olive oil in your hands and spread the dough out onto the pan. (You may need to reapply the oil a couple times, but just keep working at it and the dough will spread. YOU DO NOT NEED ANOTHER BOX!)
Prebake it for about 10 minutes.
  • Season the chicken with the Kinders seasoning. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for about 4-5 minutes per side or until fully cooked. Let it rest for a couple minutes then cut it into bite sized pieces.
  • Mix the melted butter with the seasoning packet included in the box and brush on the crust. Top it with the Alfredo sauce. I used about half the bottle but you can use as much as you want. Top that with about 2 cups of the mozzarella cheese, then the chicken and bacon.
  • Top it all off with one more cup of cheese and bake for another 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly. Serve hot and enjoy!

Great pizza put mushrooms on ours. Used pre cooked chicken. Was worth making again. Really did not think one box of biscuit mix was enough but was.
