When you need a party food that everyone will love. These Rotel Sausage and Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls are the perfect thing! I have taken them to several parties and there are never any left! They are made with simple ingredients and minimal prep. And they are not spicy so you don’t need to worry about them being too hot for anyone. Several kids were eating them at the last party I took them too! (Keep in mind, that this is controlled by the mildness of the sausage and rotel varieties you choose!) Be cautious of that while shopping for the ingredients.
Here are some other great appetizers to try as well!
How to Make Rotel Sausage and Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls
Start by browning 1 lb of breakfast sausage or Italian sausage. Then you will stir in cream cheese, a can of Rotel, and some seasonings. Once everything is well incorporated, take that off of the heat and allow it to cool. The full recipe is at the bottom of the page!
Roll the crescent rolls out onto your work area. Cut them in half lenghtwise. I find it is easiest to do this using a pizza cutter. After you have them cut, use a cookie scoop to place the filling on the wide end of the rolls. Carefully roll each one up. Place them on a lined baking sheet and bake at 375 for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Allow them to cool for at least 5 minutes before serving. Eat them plain or use any kind of dipping sauce you like and enjoy!
