If you love Chinese takeout, you will love this Sweet and Spicy Pork Stir Fry! Not only is it incredibly easy to make, it is inexpensive and gets made in one pan! Everything I love about easy dinners! I made this for my husband and two of our kids and there was not a crumb left. I will make a double batch next time because I really like leftovers lol. If you don’t eat pork, you can easily substitute ground chicken , turkey or beef. And any vegetables you like will work in this. The rice can easily be swapped out with noodles! The sweet and spicy sauce is the real star of the show and what gives this dish its great flavor. Feel free to customize this recipe any way you like. How To Make Sweet and Spicy Pork Stir Fry

This is just a summary, the full recipe is below. Start by making the sauce. Mix together orange juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, Sriracha and corn starch. Set that aside.

Brown the ground sausage in some avocado il in a skillet over medium high heat. When it is finished cooking, remove it and set it aside. Add in some more oil and the chopped up veggies.

Cook the veggies until they are as tender as you like. Stir the sausage back in then stir in the sauce. Cook it for a few minutes until everything is coated in the sauce and it has thickened up.

Sweet and Spicy Pork Stir Fry

This Sweet and Spicy Pork Stir Fry is an incredibly delicious Asian-inspired dish that you can make in one pan and in less than 30 minutes!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Cup Orange Juice
  • 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tsps Sesame Oil
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 3-4 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Paste
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1-2 tbsp Sriracha
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 lb Ground Pork Sausage Beef, Turkey or Chicken will work too
  • 1 Yellow Onion, roughly chopped
  • 1 Large Zucchini, roughly chopped
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper, roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp Avocado Oil

Instructions
 

  • Mix together the first 9 ingredients to make the sauce. Set it aside.
  • Add 1 tbsp of oil to a skillet over medium high heat. When it is hot, add in the sausage. Break it up slightly, leaving it in bite-sized chunks. Cook it quickly over the high heat because you want it to get slightly crispy. When it is cooked, remove it and set it aside.
  • Add another tbsp of oil to the pan, and the veggies. Cook them for 5-7 minutes or until desired tenderness.
  • Stir the sausage back in and then the sauce.
  • Cook, stirring the whole time, until everything is well coated in the sauce and the sauce has thickened up. Season with salt and pepper to taste if needed. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

You can substitute any veggies you like in this. 
Can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. 
It can be frozen for up to 3 months. 
To reheat, I recommend putting it in the microwave 
If you don’t tolerate spice very well, leave out the red pepper flakes and Sriracha sauce
