How To Make Egg Roll In A Bowl
Brown 1 lb of ground beef )Ground chicken, pork or turkey will also work) with a diced onion. Once the meat is cooked, drain off the excess grease. Add in 6-7 minced garlic cloves and 1 tbsp ginger paste (or 1 tsp of dried ginger). If you want it to be spicy, add in 1-2 teaspoons of creole seasoning of your choice. Mix well.
Stir in 1 bag of coleslaw mix and 1/4 cup of water. Let it wilt down some. Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, rive wind vinegar and hoisin sauce. (The exact measurements will be on the recipe card below!)
Mix well and let simmer on low until the veggies are your desired tenderness!
It really is just that simple! As I said above, feel free to customize this to your liking! Add as many veggies as you want! I really love to add riced cauliflower and sliced zucchini! If you want to make it stretch even further, add in some noodles or white rice. I have had people suggest serving wonton strips for some crunch, or even adding water chestnuts to it. The wonderful thing about this dish is that you can make it exactly how you like it!
