Salmon is one of our favorite proteins in this house. It is a tad bit expensive. so whenever it is on sale, I try to stock up. Since we love the taste of salmon on its own, I try to keep the method of preparing it simple. One of my favorite ways to prepare it is to just toss it in some olive oil, rub on some seasoning and throw it in the air fryer. (Air fryer salmon recipe here.) Another one of our favorites is Bang Bang salmon. Not only is salmon delicious, but it is a great source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids. But I am not here to give nutritional advice, so let’s get into the recipe!
How To Make Garlic Honey Butter Salmon
This is just a summary, the full recipe is written out below! Start by melting some butter and stirring in minced garlic, honey, dried parsley, a pinch of smoked paprika and black pepper. Mix it up well.
Lay your salmon filets out on greased aluminum foil or parchment paper. (I prefer parchment paper but had none when I made this recipe.) Spread the butter mixture over each one. Top each one with a couple of lemon slices. Air fry at 375 degrees for about 11 minutes or bake in the oven at the same temperature for about 15 minutes. Cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the salmon and individual appliances!
When they are finished, spoon some of the mixture back on top of the filets. Top with more parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
Just look at how tender, flaky and juicy that is!
And if you need a good side dish to serve this with, it goes well with a lot of things. The following dishes would all be great:
Texas Roadhouse Style Green Beans
Perfect Air Fryer Baked Potatoes
