Rotel Sausage and Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls

Sausage, Rotel and cream cheese baked into buttery soft crescent rolls for the perfect handheld party food!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Breakfast Sausage or Italian Sausage
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 10 oz Can of Rotel
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes optional for a little heat
  • (2) 8 count Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough

Instructions

  • Brown the breakfast sausage and drain the excess grease. Stir in the cream cheese, Rotel and seasonings. Stir until everything is well incorporated. Take it off the heat and allow it to cool.
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • Roll the crescent rolls out onto a countertop or cutting board. Cut each one in half lengthwise. Use a cookie scoop to place a dollop on the wide end of each roll. Roll them up carefully and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil. (I had to use 2 for these. Or you could make 2 separate batches as well.)
  • Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown. If you have to pans in the oven, be sure to rotate them halfway through cooking!
  • Let them cool for at least 5 minutes before serving and enjoy!
