Baked Crack Chicken Dip is loaded with chicken, bacon, cheese, and ranch dip and it is SO ADDICTING! It is always a huge hit at parties, and I always leave with an empty dish! Not only that, but it is SUPER easy to make! Especially with a few shortcuts, you can have this whipped up in no time at all! It is perfect for all occasions – summer cookouts, football parties, wedding/baby showers, holiday gatherings, you name it! You can use a variety of things to dip in it as well. My favorite is Fritos Scoops, but any kind of tortilla chips work great. As do an array of vegetables for anyone who is watching their carb intake.
And here are some more great recipes to check out while you are here!
Ingredient List:
- Cooked Chicken – I used Rotisserie chicken for the convenience but you can certainly cook your own by either boiling, baking, roasting, or pan frying!
- Cooked Bacon – For this particular recipe, I used pre-cooked bacon, which I rarely do. Normally I cook my bacon in the oven then chop it myself, but the day that I made this I was in a bit of a hurry
- Cream Cheese – softened to room temperature
- Sour Cream – I used full fat, but light works just as well
- Ranch Dressing Mix – I buy the premade stuff because I love it, but you can make your own if you like
- Grated Cheddar Cheese
- Grated Mozzarella Cheese – Feel free to use any combination of cheeses that you like!
For a spicy twist, try adding in some pickled jalapenos or diced chilies. They even make a spicy ranch that I like to use sometimes! This is just a base recipe! Do not be afraid to make it your own!
How To Make Crack Chicken Dip:
If you want to go the easy route like I did, grab a rotisserie chicken from the store and pick off the meat until you have about 2 cups.
As I mentioned above, I normally cook my own bacon and chop it up. On this particular day I was in a bit of a rush and I used two packages of pre-cooked bacon. They were actually pretty good, but expensive and not something I will buy often. Anyways, you want to have about 2 cups of chopped up bacon.
Next, all you have to do is mix the ingredients together!
And lastly, you will spread that into a baking dish, top with the remaining cheese and bacon and bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes! And now it is time to start dipping!
If you do make this recipe, please leave a comment and a rating! I love hearing from you and it helps so much! Thank you!
