Ingredients:
- 6–8 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Kinder’s Caramelized Onion Burger Seasoning
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1–2 tablespoons dill pickle relish (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon yellow or Dijon mustard
- 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
- 2 ¼ cups beef broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for stirring in)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (for topping)
Instructions:

In a large pot or deep skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. When it is done, remove with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving 1–2 tablespoons of bacon grease in the pan. Now add the ground beef and diced onion to the pot. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is softened. Stir in the garlic, Kinder’s Caramelized Onion Burger Seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 1–2 minutes.

Now add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste and cook for another 1–2 minutes. Then stir in the dill pickle relish, mustard, and tomato sauce.

Next, add the uncooked rice and beef broth. Stir to combine. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18–20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and has absorbed the liquid.

Once the rice is cooked, remove from heat. Then stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and the reserved bacon. Then sprinkle the top with sharp cheddar, cover, and let it sit for 3–5 minutes until melted and gooey.

Serve with your favorite burger toppings—diced pickles, green onions, burger sauce, or crushed chips for extra fun.
