Cheesy Sausage and Rotel Balls

These Cheesy Sausage and Rotel Balls are seriously so good! I came across this recipe online somewhere many years ago. And every time I make them for a party, they are one of the first things to go! And the best part? You only need five simple ingredients to make them! You might even have them in your fridge and pantry right now! How to Make Cheesy Sausage and Rotel Balls

You will need:
- 1 lb of Ground Sausage, uncooked
- 1 (8) oz package of cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 (10) oz can of Rotel, drained
- 1 3/4 cups Bisquick Baking Mix
- 2 cups Shredded Cheese ( I used 1 cup sharp cheddar and 1 cup pepper jack)

In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to mix together the sausage, cream cheese and rotel.

Mix in the bisquick, then stir in the cheeses. Form into 1 inch balls and place on baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 400 degrees for about 25-30 minutes or until cooked thoroughly.

Cheesy Sausage and Rotel Balls
Ingredients
- 1 lb Hot ground sausage, UNCOOKED
- 8 oz package of cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 10 oz Can of Rotel tomatoes and diced chilies drained
- 1 3/4 cups Bisquick Baking mix
- 2 cups Shredded Cheese, any kind you like I used sharp cheddar and pepper jack
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the uncooked sausage with the cream cheese and drained Rotel using a hand mixer or stand mixer
- Mix in the Bisquick
- Stir in the shredded cheese
- Form into 1 inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through







Can you fry them in a pan?
I am sorry, I can’t say for sure because I have not tested that method. I almost feel like the outside would get done too fast for the insides to cook all the way. But again, I have not tried to be able to say for sure.
