8ozpackage of cream cheese, softened to room temperature
10ozCan of Rotel tomatoes and diced chiliesdrained
1 3/4cupsBisquick Baking mix
2cupsShredded Cheese, any kind you likeI used sharp cheddar and pepper jack
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
In a large mixing bowl, combine the uncooked sausage with the cream cheese and drained Rotel using a hand mixer or stand mixer
Mix in the Bisquick
Stir in the shredded cheese
Form into 1 inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through
Notes
These can be made up to 2 days ahead of time. Just keep them in an airtight container in the fridge. When you are ready to heat them up, use a low setting on the oven or even in the crockpot. I don't recommend microwaving them, the texture turns a bit chewy. You can freeze them for up to 2 months in an airtight container.
