Ingredients:
- 4-pound chuck roast, cut into small chunks
- 2 packets Pioneer roasted beef gravy mix (1.41 ounces each)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 4 cups beef broth
- Garlic powder (to taste)
- Onion powder (to taste)
- Black pepper (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- Dried parsley (for garnish)
- 24-ounce package Reames homestyle frozen egg noodles
Directions:

This is just a summary, the full recipe is below. Cut a 3-4 pound chuck roast into small chunks. Season the meat generously with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper on all sides.

In the crockpot, combine the two packets of Pioneer roasted beef gravy mix, the can of cream of mushroom soup, and 4 cups of beef broth. Stir until well mixed. Add the seasoned chunks of chuck roast to the crockpot, ensuring they are covered by the sauce.
Cover and cook on low for about 8-9 hours, or on high for 6-8, until the meat is tender.

Once cooked, remove the roast from the crockpot and place it on a cutting board.
Shred the meat using two forks, making sure to remove any excess fat.
Return the shredded beef to the crockpot and stir to combine with the sauce.

Prepare the Reames homestyle frozen egg noodles according to the package directions. Once the noodles are cooked, add them to the crockpot with the beef and sauce. Stir everything together well. Season with salt and additional pepper to taste.
Garnish with dried parsley for a pop of color.

In true Midwestern fashion, serving the beef and noodles over mashed potatoes is a beloved tradition. The creamy mashed potatoes soak up the rich gravy and complement the tender beef perfectly. But they are also great all on their own! If you want them to be more like soup, you can add more beef broth!
