I have been seeing different version of this Creamy Italian Chicken Pasta going around social media. To be honest, none of them have really looked or sounded like something I or my family would like. But I decided to make it and put my own little spin on it. And I must say, it was INCREDIBLE! And so very easy! My whole family enjoyed it and I will definitely be making it again! How To Make Creamy Italian Chicken Pasta (Crockpot)
Place 1.5 lbs of boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs into the crockpot. Season with garlic poweder, onion powder and black pepper. (This is just a summary, the full recipe is below!)
Pour in 1 can of cream of chicken soup, 8 oz of Olive Garden Italian Dressing and 2 cups of milk. Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 6-7.
This is the dressing I used. If you can’t find this, there are plenty of other brands of Creamy Italian Dressing that you can use!
When it is almost finished, cook 1 lb of pasta in some salted boiling water. Cook it to al dente. I used the cellantani, but any short type of pasta will work! Drain the water and set it aside.
When it is finished, remove the chicken and chop it or shred it.
Add the chicken back into the crockpot, along with the pasta and 1 cup of grated parmesan cheese. Season with some black pepper and some dried parsley. Stir well to combine. Serve hot and enjoy!
