- ¼ cup diced onion
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- ¼–½ cup water (as needed to create sauce)
- 1 box (8-count) Texas-style frozen garlic toast (such as New York Bakery brand)

- Shredded lettuce
- Diced tomatoes
- Sour cream
- Sliced jalapeños

- ½ cup black beans or refried beans
- ½ cup corn (canned or frozen)
- ½ can Rotel tomatoes (drained)
- 2–3 tablespoons cream cheese for a creamy taco version
- Chopped green chilies
Instructions

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with diced onion until fully cooked. Drain excess grease if needed.
Season the Meat: Stir in the taco seasoning and ¼–½ cup of water. Mix well and let it simmer on low for 3–4 minutes until thickened. If using any optional add-ins (beans, corn, cream cheese, etc.), stir them in now and heat through.

Prepare the Garlic Toast:Preheat your oven to 425°F. Place the frozen garlic toast on a baking sheet and bake for 8 minutes.

Create the “Taco Cups”: Remove toast from the oven. Using the back of a large spoon, gently press down the center of each piece to create a shallow well while keeping the edges intact.
Fill and Top: Divide the taco meat mixture evenly into each piece of toast. Top generously with shredded cheese.

Melt the Cheese: Place back in the oven for 2–3 more minutes, just until the cheese is melted and bubbling.

Add Toppings: Remove from the oven and top with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, jalapeños, and anything else your heart desires. Serve immediately!
