Notes
Topping & Variation Ideas
Creamy Taco Toast: Stir cream cheese into the taco meat for a rich, creamy base.
Mexican Street Corn Style: Top with corn, cotija cheese, Tajín, and a drizzle of lime crema.
Fiesta Style: Include black olives, pico de gallo, guacamole, or pickled jalapeños.
Protein Swaps: Use ground turkey, shredded chicken, or even refried beans for a meatless version.
Make Ahead & Storage Tips
Make Ahead: You can cook the taco meat mixture up to 2 days in advance and store it in the refrigerator.
To Store Leftovers: Refrigerate the meat-filled garlic toast without toppings in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Reheat: Use an air fryer at 350°F for 3–5 minutes or oven at 400°F for 5–7 minutes to bring back crispiness. Avoid the microwave—it will make the toast soggy.
