Creamy Tortellini Bake

This creamy tortellini bake was the result of me not knowing what to make for dinner one night and rummaged through my fridge to see what I had and low and behold, it instantly became a family favorite! Don’t you love when that happens!!! It only takes a few simple ingredients and can be on the table in about 30 minutes. Oh, and it is a one-pot meal and if you have spent any time reading my other posts, you know how much I love those! So without further ado, let’s get started!

Start by browning 1 lb of ground beef with a diced onion and 6-7 minced garlic cloves.

Once the meat is browned, drain it. (This is a personal preference and definitely not required!)

Add your seasonings. I used Kinders Garlic and Herb and salt and pepper.

I don’t measure, I just eyeball it, but I would guess it was 2-3 tbs of the Kinders and maybe a teaspoon each of salt and pepper!

Add in 20 oz of fresh cheese tortellini. This is my favorite brand!

Then add a package of garlic and herb boursin cheese. You could substitute this with the garlic and herb cream cheese!

You are also going to add a 24 oz jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce and 1 cup of beef broth. Mix that all up really well.

Cover with a thick layer of mozzarella cheese and bake at 400 for about 15-20 minutes or until cheese is golden brown and bubbly!

I served this with some garlic bread and a dinner salad. It was absolutely wonderful!

this recipe was wicked good and easy to make! I noticed on the printer version of the recipe it didn’t say what temperature to bake it at. so I baked it at 350 instead of 400, and I baked for 20 minutes and it still came out wicked good! I used an 9×13 baking dish, omitted the beef broth, added a 4 oz block of cream cheese and sprinkled the dish with parmesan cheese and it was perfect! Thanks for the recipe! 🙂
Kayla,
Thank you for pointing out that I forgot to put the oven temp! I have fixed the recipe now. And I am so glad you were able to make it, with the adjustments you made and that you loved it! That is so great! And thank you so much for your review and rating, it is truly appreciated!
Can you use frozen tortellini
You can, but I would boil it for a couple minutes first!
