Notes
One common dilemma when making apple salads is keeping the apples from browning. To avoid this, you can toss your chopped apples in a bit of lemon juice before adding them to the salad. The acidity of the lemon juice helps to slow down the oxidation process, keeping those apples looking fresh and appetizing. You can make this up to one day ahead of time, just keep it tightly covered in the fridge until ready to serve.
