2slabsBaby Back Ribs (Spare Ribs also work great!)
Your Favorite BBQ Rub
1-2CupsBBQ Sauce of your choice
1/2-1CupDr Pepper
1/2CupLight Brown Sugar
1StickButter, sliced into small pats
Instructions
Preheat your smoker or oven to 250 degrees.
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and cut into individual ribs. Season each side of them generously with your favorite BBQ Rub. Place on the smoker or in the oven and cook for 2 hours or until they hit about 165 degrees.
Remove from the grill and place in a foil pan. Cover with your favorite BBQ sauce. Pour the DR Pepper into the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle with the brown sugar and place the butter pats on top.
Cover tightly with aluminum foil and cook for one more hour or until they are as tender as you like! Serve hot and enjoy!
