Ingredients

For the Rolls

  • 1 (12 Count Package) King's Hawaiian original sweet rolls
  • 6 tbsp Salted Butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Ground Cinnamon

For the Cream Cheese Filling

  • 8 oz Softened Cream Cheese
  • 2 tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Egg

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees and grease a 9x13 baking dish
  • Place the King's Hawaiian rolls in the dish and carefully cut a small square in the top of each roll and gently pull out some of the bread, ensuring not to cut the bottom of the rolls.
  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Mix well until combined. Brush this mixture generously over the tops and insides of each roll, ensuring they are well-coated.
  • In a mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the granulated sugar and egg, mixing until creamy and well-blended.
  • Carefully fill each roll with the cream cheese mixture, ensuring a generous amount in each cavity.
  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden and the cream cheese filling is set. Allow the rolls to cool slightly before slicing them into individual portions. Serve warm for the best experience!

Notes

These are also really good with a slice of a fresh strawberry, some fresh blueberries or any kind of berries on top! Just add them on top of the cream cheese mixture before baking!
These can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
