Crockpot BBQ Pulled Chicken (Easy Recipe)

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Boneless skinless chicken, breasts or thighs
  • 18 oz Bottle of your favorite BBQ Sauce
  • 1 Yellow Onion, Diced
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper, diced
  • 2-3 Garlic Cloves, minced

Seasoning for Chicken

  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Black Pepper
  • 2 tbs Brown Sugar

Instructions

  • Place the chicken in the bottom of the crockpot and sprinkle with the seasonings listed.
  • Stir together the rest of the ingredients and pour over the chicken.
  • Cook on high for2-3 hours or low for 4-5 hours, or until chicken is thoroughly cooked to an internal temp of 165 degrees.
  • Shred the chicken when it is finished cooking.

Notes

This can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
