Ingredients
1tbspOlive Oil
14ozSmoked Sausage, sliced
1Yellow Onion, Diced
1Green Bell Pepper, diced
1Red Bell Pepper, diced
1tbspVeggie Seasoning Blend
6-7Garlic Cloves, minced
1CupChicken Broth
1CupHeavy Cream
5.3ozBoursin Garlic and Fine Herbs Cheese
19ozFrozen Cheese Tortellini
3ozShaved or Grated Parmesan
1/2-1tspRed Pepper Flakes, optional
Salt and Pepper to taste if needed
Instructions
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add smoked sausage and sauté until browned. Remove and set aside.
Add onion and bell peppers to the pan. Season and cook for 5 minutes until softened.
Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
Pour in broth and cream. Add Boursin cheese and stir until melted.
Add frozen tortellini. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 8–10 minutes.
Uncover, stir in Parmesan and red pepper flakes. Return sausage to the pan and simmer until sauce thickens. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Storage & Reheating Tips
Storage: Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Reheating: Reheat gently in a skillet over low heat with a splash of broth or cream to loosen the sauce. Microwave reheating works too, but stir halfway through for even heating.
Note: The tortellini stays al dente when fresh, but will soften slightly as leftovers.
