Crockpot Chicken and Stuffing

October 10, 2022

There is absolutely nothing fancy about this dish. BUT, it is a dump and go crockpot dish with very few ingredients and the end result is a tasty, hearty meal that will be ready for you and your family to eat after a long day or work or school activities.

Season 2-3 lbs of boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts with garlic powder, onion powder and salt and pepper. Spray your crockpot with cooking spray or use a crockpot liner and place the chicken in the bottom.

Spread one box of Stovetop chicken flavored stuffing on top of the chicken.

In a bowl, mix together one can of cream of chicken soup, one cup of sour cream, 1/2 stick of melted butter and 1/2 cup of water.

Season with 1 tsp Herbs De Provence (or you can use poultry seasoning)

Mix it together really well and spread on top of the stuffing. You can also add any vegetables you might like. Fresh green beans are always a good option. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-6 hours. And that is literally all there is to it!

I like to lightly mix it up when it is finished cooking, but not too much or it will get pretty mushy. It is good served with some fresh veggies on the side or a garden salad.

  • Hi, did you shred the chicken while it was cooking? Or serve as is?

  • In your video it says a teaspoon of the herb and on your recipe it says tablespoon can be very confusing if you don’t watch the video it was kind of overpowering
