Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 2 Cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp Silver Springs Beer'n Brat Hot Horseradish Mustard or any variety of hot horseradish mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Each, Garlic and Onion Powder
  • 1/2 Cup Crushed Pecans (for coating)

For Decorating

  • 1 Cherry Tomato red nose
  • 2 Black Olives eyes
  • 2 Twisted Prezels antlers

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded sharp cheddar, horseradish mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and onion powder. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  • Transfer the cheese mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap. Use the wrap to shape it into a round ball. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  • Roll the chilled cheese ball in the crushed pecans, pressing gently to ensure the coating sticks evenly.
  • Place the eyes, nose and antlers on. (It helps to use your fingers to make indents for the cherry and the olives!)
  • Serve with crackers, pretzels, chips or veggie sticks for dipping and enjoy!

Notes

The addition of hot horseradish mustard transforms this cheese ball from ordinary to extraordinary. It provides a tangy heat that balances the richness of the cream cheese and cheddar, creating a flavor profile that’s bold but not overpowering. This unexpected twist will have your guests asking for the recipe!
Make It Ahead: The cheese ball can be prepared up to 2 days in advance. Simply decorate it right before serving to keep the design fresh.
Alternative Coatings: If pecans aren’t your favorite, try crushed pretzels, almonds, or even bacon bits for a different texture and flavor.
Customizable Design: Don’t feel limited to Rudolph—this recipe can be shaped into other festive designs like a Christmas tree or a snowman!
