Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat to a simmer and cook for about 20 minutes or until the rice is fully cooked.

To freeze, allow the dish to cool completely, then transfer it to an airtight container or freezer bag. It can be stored in the freezer for up to three months. When you’re ready to enjoy it again, simply thaw it overnight in the refrigerator, and reheat on the stovetop over low heat, adding a splash of beef broth if needed to loosen it up.
