Pinch of Nutmeg
1.5-2CupsHeavy Creamcan use half and half too
2CupsShredded Cheddar Cheesefreshly shredded works best
Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
Add broccoli, carrots, onion, and garlic to the slow cooker. Season with Mrs. Dash, all-purpose seasoning, and nutmeg. Pour in 3 cups of chicken broth.
Whisk remaining cup of broth with cornstarch until smooth and pour into the slow cooker. Stir well.
Cook on HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 4–5 hours until vegetables are tender but not mushy.
Stir in heavy cream and shredded cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot and enjoy!
